Erhu Soloist
Yunhe Liang
is an award winning erhu player, and a graduate of the Heibei Teacher's College. He
also graduated from the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in
Beijing, China, and has taught in the music department in Hebei
Teacher's College.
While at the Central
Conservatory of Music, Liang studied erhu with Professor HanYang Zhao
(赵寒阳)
and Professor Yu Song Lan, a student of Tian Hua Liu, who was a famous
composer, performer and educator of erhu.
Yunhe Liang has made numerous
recordings for films, and has performed at venues such as the Dorothy
Chandler Pavilion and the Hollywood Bowl.
